Help Kids Off The Block Feed Chicago Youth at its 2nd Annual "Feed A Teen" Thanksgiving Day Dinner!
Posted October 02, 2008
Kids Off the Block want to feed between 500 to 1,000 teens on Thanksgiving Day! KOB is hosting its Second Annual "Feed A Teen" Thanksgiving Day Dinner, November 27, 2008 to promote higher education and non-violence among our youth... During this event the attending youth will join the KOB Peacekeepers Program. Each child will take a pledge to refrain from violence and activities that lead to violence. Upon taking the pledge youth will be given a KOB t-shirt. We need your help! KOB is seeking donations and volunteers. Last year we fed 325 teenagers, 150 volunteers and sponsors from all over the city helped us accomplish this mission. For more information, please contact Diane Latiker, Founder at (773) 995-9077.
